The Semester Ends
Oh gosh, the last week I blog was 5 weeks ago???
Anyways, that's just me... and to make it a bonus, I even forgot I had a blog for a while
Week 6 was assignments due and I had to do on going online weekly test which kept me quite preoccupied. I guess I was trying to drill myself into the routine of constant studying and surprisingly, I did fall into that momentum. So yay, thumbs up for me on that!!!
After that was over, exhaustion got to me. Didn't slack but I merely hibernated a lot. Oh wells, I am afterall a "growing child" and i STRONGLY BELIEVE that I WILL GROW TALLER and MAINTAIN MY YOUTHFUL LOOKS when I get A LOT OF SLEEP!!! Yes, IT IS MY SELF PROCLAIM STATEMENT!!!
Somehow the weeks just seem to pass me by faster this semester. The next thing I know, I was on to the second assignments and getting my head to it. And before I realise it, I just handed them in, the last one on the weekends and its Week 12, meaning exams are right after! I feel good this semester, I don't know why... but it's been the most productive semester I've had so far.
In between then, lets not forget.. I did give myself some entertainment considering Pauline and my bday is 11 days apart. We went out a lot during that time period, sometimes just for a short dinner or a short drink or a big night out (that was for our countdowns each). We both finally celebrated each other's EIGHTEENTH birthday together and actually had fun celebrating.
When I reflect on this half year, I have to say, this has been a pretty good year for me and I'm thankful for the blessings I have had so far. I pray for more good things to come since the last 2 years that was just all upside down and a very hard time period for myself. BUT this year's different... Thank God... Hallelujah 2010

Keeping Up
It's been a short while since I last keyboard *tick tick tack tok* what I've been up to. . .
First and foremost, A MILLION thank you to my wonderful empress dowager for paying my school fees early. For once, I started my semester on time & need not be rushing to catch up nor rush to begin and complete the first assignments for the semester. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
Its been 4 weeks into my semester and I took a new approach to studying. I took my student services manager's advice to try out LSU (learning skills unit) to help me with my assignments. I never thought much of that place due to my bias judgements that its a place where students with bad english go. I discovered otherwise since!!!
First time I went, I prepared a rough draft and scribbles for Productions & Operations Management's first assignment. I left LSU with more ideas in my head and felt as if Kaye (my LSU advisor) had helped me looked at the assignment from a wider angle of what I went in there with. And what she and I discussed, I brought it to class to have Katia (my productions lecturer) review it.
A new approach I took for myself and my studies. . . Since then, I've booked myself in to see Kaye twice a week in LSU as she guides me while I produce my drafts gradually that will eventually lead to a good final copy of my first assignments (including Industrial Relations). I wonder how it will turn out but my lecturers also reviews my drafts.
Gosh, I don't know if the new approach is a positive touch or not but its kept me busy as LSU appointments and appointments with my lecturer to re-review what I've drafted has helped me fill my free time with studying and research.
To sum it all up, I feel productive and for the first first time, I'm doing justice to myself. I've never realised that my new approach can be so time consuming (in a positive way) and it feels good to enter classes, prepared and being able to interact with the lecturers during lectures and discussions... It is a great feeling and I actually enjoy this new study lifestyle
Its Week 5 next week and then Easter break... I should at least finish one assignment by the Easter break and another at the end of Easter. . . that means ahead of time and I can begin on my group research for Managing Organisational Change and this would lead to the 4000 word professional business report on change management of an organisation in Australia plus look into starting Assignment 2 for Productions & Operations Mgmt (3500 word business report).
I pray I can live through this till Week 12. It would keep me on my toes and busy till exams if I stay this way.
Let's see what this year has in store for me . . . Whatever it holds, I'll leave it in the hands of the lady who watches over me from up above :-)

Hello 2010
Another year has begun. . . Is it me or time passes faster than the speed of light? Or maybe its just quarter of a century old people go through the same phase as me? One minute I was counting down for my Christmas in London with the whole family for the FIRST TIME in EONS OF YEARS!!! And now, I'm back in school again.
Mum pointed out that I never update my blog and I'm finally feeling a wee bit hard working to write a few lines.
It hailed "golf balls" yesterday in Melbourne and the city was heavily flooded a few inches. Thank god I spent the day vegging out at home and not had the feeling of going out. Never have I seen such hailing and its a miracle my apartment's glass didn't crack or break but my poor Sphinx and Berlin were so scared they bolted n hid under the sheets. Hahaha!!! My wonderful car was sleeping safe in my underground car park. Thank God for the urge in myself to hide at home and laze around all day.
Here's the link you can see of the news and pictures of what happened:
For once, I can proudly say. . . vegging out was a bonus :-) Had I been out with my car, my car would probably have a smashed windscreen or the impact of those golf ball hailing would probably cause my car to suffer dents all over or even be stranded because all trains and trams could not run in the flood. . .
Ok, thats all for now... Folks!!!!

Moving For The One Millionth Time. . .
Everything's all ready to go. . . in a few more hours, the movers will be here to move those big furnitures for me
My arms are so darn sore... moving my stuff from the basement to 2nd floor!!!
I counted. . . 36 flights of stairs, I actually panted and huffed through it, just going up and down, moving my stuff
OMG!!!
House hunting is fun when you get to view different places BUT moving is NOT FUN AT ALL
Told myself, this is the last damn time I'm moving
Only thing I'm gonna miss about my old place is the gas top cooking, it's gonna be back to electric top cooking and OH, the double brick walls at this old place that makes summer endurable and LIVEABLE
Haven't slept, spent all night packing up and moving stuff to the new place... got all the big furnitures ready for the movers when they come
Definitely gonna crash early this evening. . .
I miss home
There may be house rules but at least there's a permanent place to live in
The best part that I miss most... I don't have to do my own housework and only just need to keep things tidy and neat
And and and. . . good food at nice places and and and...
Aha!!! I remember now, nicely ironed out clothes everyday
Sighs, nothing beats the comforts of home. . .
Keep on moving, keep on moving *sings*
After moving's complete... pray pray pray... SOMEONE... HIRE ME!!! I need a job!!!
